Relaxed atmosphere, helpful stuff, nothing to complain about. 20 minutes walk from the tube. Les Corts neighbourhood is worth looking into. We enjoyed this hotel.

We liked the attention in the buffet restaurant and bar of the establishment, Olga made our daughter feel very loved and accompanied and made our stay in the hotel more pleasant. The Spa has good facilities, several types of pools so you can enjoy the service very well.
The service at the reception was disastrous, in every way, they always had "but's" for everything, on the last day of our stay we had to take a flight and we had bought some babies for our daughter that had AAA batteries, which cannot be transported in flight, so we needed a small screwdriver to remove them, but at the reception they flatly refused to provide it because there were regulations that prevented it! It was inconceivable, I didn't want to take the screwdriver with me, just use it in front of them to remove the batteries and return it on the spot, even giving the batteries away... the solution was casually provided by the maintenance staff who just walked by the reception and heard my complaint, so I just explained it to them and they kindly agreed.. but what need to get into a discussion? the reception staff should have understood the situation and made it easier for me to communicate with the maintenance team, everything would have been easier, otherwise I would have had to go out and get a screwdriver just 4 hours before my flight!... the really unpleasant situation. Minors could only access the Spa for two hours (10AM to 12AM) which is little and in many cases unheard of because breakfast ends around 10:30AM. Apart from all this, the establishment is declared 4 star and honestly seems to me the same as any other 3 star establishment.

The staff at the bar is very friendly. They helped us with our baby when the hotel did not have some facilities for small children.
The hotel did not have some facilities for small children such as a bathroom with changing table in the lobby area. I also didn't like the fact that breakfast closed at 10:30 on a Sunday and that the card reader said we didn't have breakfast included when we did. Luckily we had the same breakfast and I was able to prove that it was included in the reservation so that we were not overcharged. The pool/terrace was a bit disappointing, all stone and no vegetation; it felt like a simple rooftop. Finally, I don't see much point in charging for the Spa when the name of the hotel is what it is. I think that most hotels with a spa in Europe do not charge for its use; it is simply included in the price of the room, which does not need to go up by 15 euros per person, I think that 5 euros would be enough to make the spa profitable; then not everybody goes.

I liked that you had 4 bottles of water for one person, that you had a water heater, red tea, pennyroyal, decaffeinated coffee for people who can't drink caffeine (that's a lot to be thankful for and take into account), regular coffee, milk and two kinds of sugar, for diabetics and regular. And something also curious that the mini bar could be filled to your liking, minimum 4 products had to be ordered, but it is interesting because in the vast majority of hotels you get everything and nothing. That the bed would have duvet, designed for people who may be allergic to dust and mites.
That when you used the sink for a long time, the pipe would give off the smell of fecal water. The solution was to cover it for a while with the plug itself until it dried. There was also no explanation for the safety deposit box (I didn't need to use it). The television, some channels lost the television signal.

they have a good breakfast, and good access to city transportation.

Check-in and check-out were pretty quick and painless. The wi-fi in the room worked - though setting it up was a bit fiddly. Underground parking for €15 per day is acceptable in the city. Service was mostly efficient. Location is quiet and reasonably convenient for the metro - in good weather! It poured with rain when we were there and we got soaked coming back from the metro station.
The restaurant served food of good quality, but it was not hot (a common problem in Spain), it came with absolutely no vegetables or salad (and these were not offered) and it was expensive. Restaurant ambience was disappointing. Had to request milk for the in-room coffee facilities twice - this should have been replenished during the day.
-
